MUBTASIM ALVEE

Mubtasim Alvee (b.2001) is a Dhaka-based multidisciplinary artist, animator, and activist, currently pursuing his MFA in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka. His practice navigates abstraction, perception, and process, engaging with open-ended visual languages that reflect both personal inquiry and collective realities. Alvee is the founder of Syllabaad Collective and the Charukola Animation Society, initiatives that foster collaborative learning and experimentation. His work extends beyond individual authorship, emphasizing shared cultural production, dialogue, and interdisciplinary exchange. Through his evolving practice, Alvee continues to challenge conventional structures of art, pedagogy, and exhibition-making.
